Support and Troubleshooting
Wild Duck Productions can provide IT technical support and troubleshooting so if you're having problems with your computer, printer or network then contact us to discuss how we can help! Tuition
If you would like to learn more about how to use your computer or laptop, your printer, scanner or camera, how to use your word processing or spreadsheet programs or how to get the internet on your new laptop, Wild Duck Productions can help! We can provide computer tuition for people who want to learn the basics on their first computer and those who want to use more advanced features, functions and programs such as video, audio and image editing or desktop publishing. We can help you with online purchasing, show you some legal downloading and streaming options so you can watch television programmes and films on your computer, and even help you upgrade your computer. Computers can be wonderful tools but often people find that they're held back by technical jargon and a fear of causing problems! Wild Duck Productions aims to provide jargon-free help, tuition and reassurance, keeping in mind your experience and understanding of each subject and without patronising!

24 Hour Support
The 24 hour remote support service we offer is available to both current home and current business customers. This means that current clients can contact us 24 hours a day to help solve any PC problems you may be experiencing. With your permission we log in to your computer from our own PCs, and we can then see your screen and share control of the mouse and keyboard.
In order to offer remote support on private or business computers you'll need an internet connection (broadband preferred) then we have to install a small programme onto your PC or laptop. We can talk you through the installation process over the phone. Once it's installed you're ready to go, you can then call us for remote support whenever you need it. You are only charged if you ever require remote support, just having the program sat on the computer is, of course, free, and there is no subscription or contract.
If you require remote support at any point the prices are as follows:

We also offer pre-arranged remote support, meaning that you can organise remote support sessions with us in advance, for instance for tuition or maintenance work. These sessions can then be quoted for ahead of time, or charged on a per hour basis (usually £20ph) instead of being billed per minute. A connection fee is not payable if booking pre-arranged support; however there is a minimum charge of £10.
We cannot and do not guarantee that we will be available to provide technical support 24 hours a day.
